Job Description

OneValley is seeking a full time Business Marketing Lead with strong B2B experience in SaaS, Tech, Innovation and/or the Entrepreneurial space, to spearhead our B2B product marketing strategy and campaign initiatives. The Business Marketing Lead is responsible for developing the B2B marketing strategy and go-to-market campaigns that will position OneValley’s B2B platform as a global leader, and drive qualified leads for the Business Development team, while contributing to the overall success of OneValley’s business objectives and goals.

The ideal candidate is adept in marketing strategies that drive qualified B2B leads, executing omni-channel campaigns, and developing compelling and engaging content. You thrive in a hyper growth startup environment that balances leading and collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders. You will work with a diverse, passionate team of marketers, and collaborate closely with the Business Development and Product teams to create engagement opportunities and drive qualified B2B leads.

This position will start ASAP and will work in person at our Innovation Center in San Mateo (hybrid in-office/remote work schedule).

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, and working with the broader Marketing team with support from a marketing associate the key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of B2B marketing and leads pipeline including, but not limited to:
  • development of compelling content that helps drive B2B customer engagement and industry credibility.
  • channel planning, and campaign strategy & execution – ad campaign setup, monitoring, performance management (benchmark and KPI setting).
  • B2B content development – assist in sourcing, curating, and creating quality go-to-market ads, content, and consumer-facing assets.
  • run A/B and multivariate tests across digital channels to analyze and improve performance against business KPIs.
  • project management – lead marketing campaigns and projects from planning, go-to-market briefs, stakeholder management, own the timeline, and performance monitoring and optimization. Responsible and accountable for the development and documentation of projects.
  • manage cross-functional campaign and project meetings with relevant stakeholders to educate them on brief direction, timings, initiate development of messaging, creative, asset and tool requirements etc.
  • collaborate with business development, product, marketing, customer success and data to inform new initiatives and refine in-market activity.
  • Partner with Product to build market and competitive assessment, surfacing qualitative and quantitative insights to help shape product direction, ensure product-market fit, and deliver effective marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Manage and mentor direct report (Marketing Associate), create a culture of B2B marketing excellence within the team.
  • Qualify and source B2B opportunities, develop and maintain partnerships and marketing materials, and partner with Events Manager to source and qualify B2B sponsorship and event opportunities.
  • Quality Assurance (QA) – accurate completion and application of all company processes and procedures including the production and quality assurance of all consumer-facing campaigns, and internal asset management. Act as a OneValley brand custodian and balance the input of internal departments ensuring the brand & product objectives are met.
  • Reporting and analysis – monitor and synthesize learnings in actionable insights and recommendations to optimize. Research competitive trends, marketing activities & strategies.
  • Provide additional support as needed for OneValley marketing programs and activities.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise


  • 6+ years of marketing experience in B2B with a strong background in technology companies, SaaS, Innovation and/or the Entrepreneurial space.
  • Strong project management and process oriented.
  • Strong internal and external communicator with great interpersonal skills and managing upwards in keeping stakeholders informed of progress/updates.
  • Exceptional writing and grammatical skills, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong collaborator – ability to work with broad cross-functional departments, partners and vendors to ensure accurate, efficient and timely execution of projects.
  • Experience or working knowledge with ad platforms and tools (e.g. Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, Campaign Manager), data list and lead tools, email marketing, CRM and analytics platforms etc.
  • Highly interested in the Startup ecosystem and passionate about marketing disciplines.


  • 8+ years of marketing experience in B2B with a strong background in technology companies, SaaS, Innovation and/or the Entrepreneurial space.
  • Startup background advantageous.
