Ada Mode help industrial trail-blazers to accelerate their journey to net-zero through the adoption of game changing AI. We work in the civil nuclear, wind energy, marine energy, water, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors. Ada Mode help clients by identifying opportunities in their data, designing a strategy and developing the solution. All of our solutions are bespoke to the customer, built on technology developed in-house. We are a young company with a strong order book and are looking for someone who shares our vision and has enthusiasm for growing and developing an exciting business in the UK and overseas.

The Role

Ada Mode has enjoyed success with establishing its position in the market and diversifying its client base. With strong foundations and a now well-established business, a Business Growth lead is sought to support the next phase of development, in particular focusing on growing the medium to long-term work pipeline through the identification and landing of clients in existing or new markets, which fit in with the company ethos.

• A senior role, leading the sales process, it will require close working with the founder team to distill and communicate offerings and proposals to potential clients.

• Develop and lead on strategies for target market penetration.

• Develop and lead on strategy for raising profile of the business.

• Setting up and taking ownership of the prospecting and sales processes.

• Build and develop long-term strategic client relationships.

• Understand pipeline balance vs team utilisation and make concise recommendations to grow the team as required.

• Supporting bids and proposals

• Manage Ada Mode’s digital marketing material and work with 3rd parties to build our online presence.

Experience and Qualifications

Flexible with regards to academic qualifications between sales / marketing qualifications and more technical degrees. The applicant must have experience in the digital sector or tech focused consultancy sales with an ability to grasp new concepts quickly to maximise the understanding on the technical aspects of Ada Mode’s offering. In addition, the candidate must be able to demonstrate:


• An ability to identify market trends and opportunities, develop strategies to reach new clients, and negotiate deals.

• Experience in building long term strategic client relationships, understanding client needs and expectations, and developing personalised solutions.

• 5+ years B2B business development in a professional services / consultancy company.

• Experience in rapidly growing an SME pipeline.

• Ability to implement effective CRM processes / software platforms.

• That they have a good understanding of the wider business operations, i.e. forecasting, reporting, sales, marketing, and financial management.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to clients and stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.

Desirable Skills

• Experience within renewable energy, civil nuclear and/or manufacturing


• Package to be negotiated dependent on experience

• 25 days leave + Christmas leave

• Flexible working arrangements

• Influential role within a vibrant company
