Job Description

Business Development Representatives are the front line of the sales process.  They manage incoming inquiries, message prospects to coordinate and host discovery calls, with a seamless handoff of qualified deals to the Account Executive Sales team.

Having a proven track record of exceeding inside sales goals, engaging with new prospects and being capable of building and growing the pipeline of the business are job requirements.  It is also important to have experience navigating through organizations and being comfortable speaking to multiple decision makers.

This is a full time sales position.

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as the first human touchpoint for all inbound leads, managing flow from marketing to sales
  • Conduct research, identify and tenaciously generate new leads via outbound prospecting
  • Schedule and execute high level conversations with qualified leads via short discovery calls
  • Responsible for accurately tracking contact  interactions and information in Hubspot CRM
  • Ability to understand prospect needs and effectively record/communicate that need to the Account Executive team
  • Collaborate and share feedback with sales and marketing to constantly improve process
  • Communicate regularly with marketing to improve market intelligence and lead quality
  • Develop a mastery of company’s solutions and products, closely follow industry trends, and over time build key client relationships
  • Adhere to company best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-4 years of work experience
  • Experience with inside sales, including messaging prospects and hosting discovery calls
  • Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, and numbers driven.
  • Thrive on change while remaining highly organized, optimistic and coachable
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a motivated, self-starting attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to learn and absorb new products quickly and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demand
