Business Development Manager

Hours: 35 hours per week (9-5)
Contract: Permanent
Department: Institute of Swimming
Location: SportPark, Loughborough, LE11 3QF (With national travel)
Salary: £35,035 – £40,800 per annum
Reporting to: Managing Director (Institute of Swimming)

Institute of Swimming work in conjunction with Swim England and exist for the good of the sport; developing the best aquatic professionals is our priority.

We are the largest provider of Swim England qualifications and aquatics courses, training over 60% of all swimming teachers in the UK. We have over 35yrs experience and offer flexible, industry leading training, delivered by exceptional tutors. Their courses cover teaching swimming, coaching, aquatic health and fitness, and pool plant.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Institution of Swimming and to help make a real difference.

You will be accountable for the development of new business in the form of commercially viable training products, programmes and services.

You will also be responsible for increasing the Institute of Swimming’s net income. To continually review existing products and make recommendations to maximise income.

The successful candidate must have:

• Strong experience in Business Development & Revenue Generation.
• Experienced in Project Management, including managing budgets and developing business cases.
• A proven ability to form, build and maintain relationships with a variety of external partners and other identified stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of the Product Development cycles.
• Knowledge of business change procedures, combined with experience of providing advice on these matters.
• Experience of managing a remote team
