JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION

Responsible for identifying cross divisional high impact integration opportunities by assessing market and client needs and tracking the findings. Will drive cross sell initiatives and manage engagement with third party platforms for distributions and expansion opportunities.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs analytical, financial, and strategic analyses for potential market or partnership opportunities.
  • Manage existing sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
  • Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
  • Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals inline with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
  • Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals
  • Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Thorough knowledge of Black Knight products and services is a plus
  • Successful track record in B2B business expansion and negotiation
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
  • Knowledge of the sales lifecycle and experience in sales techniques
  • Skill to budget and forecast financial performance
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Skill to create moderate to complex financial models that support management decision-making
  • Ability to analyze market and clients’ business needs and determine related data processing requirements
  • Ability to utilize solid decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead, direct and manage effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public

Business Development Analyst II

Intermediate professional role. Moderate skills with high level of proficiency. Develops and implements solutions that require analysis and research. Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in business development analysis, process modeling, and financial analysis. Processes solid knowledge in a specific business area. Works on one (1) or more projects as a team member or occasionally as a project lead. May coach and direct the work of more junior analysts. Works under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment with broad implication to the business. May consult with senior peers on certain projects. Typically requires three (3) or more years of experience in an analytical and/or problem-solving role.

Although target pay range may vary by work location, a representative pay range for Colorado residents is: $65,000 – $105,000. Eligible to participate in medi cal, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and disability insurance, 401(k) plan and employee stock purchase plan. Eligible to participate in the discretionary annual performance bonus.
