Full-Time Branch Controller

Job Description

As a Branch Controller you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of operational and cross functional discussions to drive the business to greater results.  Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by building consistency among the teams.  The team you will be working with is easy going and communicative, and values supporting each other while meeting their goals.

So, what will you be doing as a Branch Controller?

  • Manage month end close processes including journal entry preparation, reconciliation, and financial statement analysis
  • Maintain compliance with policy and procedures and assist with Internal and External Audit requests
  • Drive process improvement through innovative thinking
  • Collaborate with production to provide financial and analytical support and assist in driving business results
  • Fulfill requests of Corporate Departments (Accounting, Tax, Risk, Credit, etc.)
  • Cross train office staff and be familiar with all job responsibilities to support as needed
  • Special projects as requested by management

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preference in manufacturing
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • High degree of professionalism and ethical standards
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized
  • A self-starter with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Things we consider a plus:

  • Experience with Dynamics D365 preferred
