Full-Time Box Office Sales Supervisor

Job Description

The Civic Center Foundation is seeking a full-time Box Office Sales Supervisor who will greet and assist guests of the Civic Center Music Hall and Hudiburg Chevrolet Center and oversee the Box Office Sales Associates. The Box Office Sales Supervisor will work with associates to process, fulfill and distribute event ticket orders for a variety of performances in various venues. The position will primarily utilize Paciolan ticketing software with some navigation in Ticketmaster.

Job functions will include but are not limited to:

  • Working with specialized ticketing software in an efficient manner and sometimes, fast paced environment and processing ticket orders, ticket reprints, payments, refunds and updating account information as needed.
  • Accurately managing cash and credit transactions in both slow and fast-paced environments and ensuring proper maintenance of PCI compliance of patron information.
  • Professionally answering a public phone line and fielding a variety of questions and providing exceptional customer service in a tactful manner to all patrons regardless of customer background or request
  • Working irregular shifts dependent upon performance calendar and daytime box office needs including daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Overseeing and directing part time box office associates and answering questions as needed
  • Working directly with Box Office Management to ensure department cohesiveness
  • Creating staff schedules for part time box office associates based on manager requests and needs
  • Assisting Managers with hiring and training of part time box office associates
  • Greeting and directing guests in the Civic Center Music Hall lobby during daytime operations
  • Special projects as needed including but not limited to building events in the ticketing system and associated tasks for the proper execution of sales and customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum of 18 years old
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to understand and communicate in conversational English and follow written and verbal instruction (Additional language proficiency encouraged to apply.)
  • Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills with a positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize while maintaining attention to detail
  • Previous cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous ticket office experience preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other basic computer and internet navigation
  • Paciolan and/or Ticketmaster (Archtics) experience preferred
  • Fully vaccinated in accordance with CDC guidelines and willing to provide proof.

Position begins at $18 hourly plus benefits including health, dental, 401k Matching, Employee Assistance Program, Life insurance, HSA account, Paid Time Off.
