Full-Time Behavioral Health Provider

Job Description

Are you looking for a variety in your clinical work?  Would you like to work on a small, dedicated team that makes a big impact in the community?  Are you passionate about helping and supporting individuals and families in getting the behavioral health care they need?  Do you want to work for an organization that promotes a healthy work-life balance?  The Connections team is looking for a Behavioral Health Provider to fill a position on their Adult Connections team. Behavioral health providers are responsible for providing clinical assessments, brief therapy, care coordination, referrals to outside providers/agencies, and psychoeducation to individuals and families who call in seeking mental health and substance use services.

Pay Range and Status

  • $61,052 to $63,600 per year DOQ
  • 40 hrs/wk
  • Time-Limited Full-time
  • It is anticipated that the position will continue for up to six months, with potential for extension depending on needs and available funding, with no guarantee of length of employment.

Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree or higher in a behavioral discipline
  • A minimum of one year clinical experience in a behavioral health setting required
  • One year clinical experience post Master’s program preferred
  • Colorado license in a behavioral health profession and addiction counseling certification preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Connections provides assistance to individuals and families who don’t know where to turn or how to navigate behavioral health services in the community.
  • Connections provides interim support while individuals and families are getting connected with community providers and agencies.
  • Connections gives relief to individuals and families who feel alone and overwhelmed.
  • Connections answers common questions from individuals and families regarding behavioral health diagnosis, navigating health care systems, insurance coverage, etc.
