As a Barista you will: - Greet and provide guests with prompt and courteous service that exceeds their expectations.
- Assist in the preparation of Caf? menu items as ordered and according to procedure.
- Accurately capture all sales and settlements in the cash register.
- Handle reconciliation of sales and payments according to standard operating procedure.
- Monitor freshness of food products to meet or exceed quality standards.
- Is knowledgeable of all Caf? policies and explains them to members and guests, when asked.
- Enforce caf? rules and policies. This includes maintaining a continuous knowledge of SOP’s, programs and what to do in the event of an accident, age restrictions, proper handling of complaints, etc.
- Assist in answering the telephone and take messages when necessary.
- Maintain an orderly, neat appearance of the register areas as well as all other areas of the store.
Full-time and Part-time opportunities working weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Shifts vary from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., and we are seeking candidates to fill a variety of shifts. Skills/Requirements - A working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and equipment use standards
- Food service experience along with an understanding of inventory is preferred.
- Candidate must be 18 years of age and available to work a variety of hours each week.
- Learn to Serve on site Certification.
- Cashier experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
