Full-Time Automation Engineer (C#)

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for automating test cases for Black Knight’s Loss Mitigation product utilizing C#. They will work on a cross-functional Agile team working closely with product owners, developers, business analysts, and other testing team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of our sol utions. Involved in and has an understanding of systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance, test automation, and integration methodologies.


  • Provides design development of projects involving application test development, migrations, and additions to existing applications.
  • Participates in Agile project meetings with other technical staff, business owners and subject matter experts.
  • Automates identified test cases using C# and conducts API testing
  • Develops and/or reviews development of test protocols for testing application before user acceptance.
  • Reviews test results and directs further development.
  • May provide, or guide provision of technical support to applications currently in production.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.


  • Experience programming in C# required
  • Experience in API testing highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) framework with Cucumber preferred
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment where all scrum team members work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded
  • Knowledge of database engines (SQL) with a demonstrated ability to write complex queries to be used for data validation and troubleshooting
  • Experience in Selenium preferred (or any other automation tool)
  • Experience with GIT is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels within Black Knight or outside the organization (executives, regulators, clients, etc.)
  • Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units

Applications Programmer II

Intermediate professional level role. Works independently on small to medium development projects as a project team leader that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and knowledge in a specific business area. Develops solutions requiring analysis and research under the general direction of more senior application development analysts, supervisors or managers. Generally works on more than one project at a time as a project team member. Typically requires four (4) or more years of programming/systems analysis experience.

Although target pay range may vary by work location, a representative pay range for Colorado residents is: $75,000 – $115,000. Eligible to participate in medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and disability insurance, 401(k) plan and employee stock purchase plan. Eligible to participate in the discretionary annual performance bonus.
