Job Title: Associate Relationship Manager
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Associate Director of Development

Position Summary: This position is responsible for fundraising planning and
activities for an assigned portfolio, under the consistent guidance of a Senior
Relationship Manager or department Director.
Work responsibilities include, but are not limited to: develop meaningful
relationships with Employee Campaign Coordinators; coordinate logistics to
ensure campaigns within assigned portfolio are running smoothly; identify and
implement initiatives to ignite workplace campaigns to increase giving to help the
Greater Rochester community.

Essential Functions:
• Implements fundraising campaigns for assigned portfolio
• Coordinates logistics for all accounts in assigned portfolio, ensuring
efficient and timely campaigns
• Works with Employee Campaign Coordinators to create and implement
ways to establish a United Way presence in the workplace at each
account on a year-round basis. Initiatives include leadership development
cultivation, special events, and/or volunteer activities.
• Develops effective presentations at workplace campaigns to inspire
employee participation in campaigns
• Responsible for meeting company partner fundraising goals
• Provides senior team with immediate insights into opportunities and
challenges within portfolio accounts
• Maintains a portfolio database in Salesforce
• Responsible for data collection and integrity for assigned portfolio
• Supports teammates on specific projects, conducting research and
assessing data to support project implementation
• Consistently demonstrates the values and mission of the United Way
• Performs other duties as assigned

Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day

Required Education and Experience
Associate’s Degree or higher in a related field from an accredited program and 2
years of experience in fundraising, development, sales, customer service, or
other related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Previous not-for-profit experience
