Full-Time Aftermarket Demand Planning Leader

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Aftermarket Demand Planning Leader to join our team specializing in Marketing for our Corporate Segment in Columbus, IN.


In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Lead the NRP demand planning team to drive process efficiency, consistency and improve KPI’s of the demand forecasting process. This is a leader role with a direct reporting of exempt demand planners into this position

* Collaborate with NRP M&S teams and channel partners (Internal teams and Independent distributors) to understand the markets & customer dynamics. Work with NRP M&S teams to identify business growth opportunities and coach M&S teams as needed

* Lead the preparation and delivery of the content of the parts forecast for monthly NRP IBP reviews. Lead the demand to supply hand-off for NRP (includes all businesses supported by NRP) as a part of monthly IBP cycle

* Drive focused efforts to improve the availability of engines population dataset and help develop robust processes to maintain that. Derive a consistent Parts Consumption Modeling approach across different regions, applications and BU’s to help drive a more consistent output

* Support AM AOP and SPP by providing the parts lifecycle and relevant forecast information.

* Collaborate with COM teams to drive consistency or reports and help business understand critical challenges. Collaborate with finance teams for advising on financialize the unconstrained demand by understanding the supply chain constraints, help them with other related events which drive the profitability of the business (like warranty campaigns, field actions, growth initiatives, etc.)

* Continue to drive process improvements for NRP demand planning processes to gain consistency and transparency with end-to-end planning in mind (partner with ONE/other vendors for the development right processes and tools for NRP demand planning)


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* Undergraduate degree and Six Sigma green belt certification preferred.

* Strong business acumen

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage any conflicts that arise

* Must be extremely proficient with Excel

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
