Full-Time After Sales Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Aftersales Engineer who is driven by developing customer relationships and focused on solutions- based sales. Managing and expanding a valued portfolio of global accounts, this position sits within our new power  business unit, based from Oevel, Belgium.


In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Evaluate existing customer needs and priorities to create opportunities to increase sales by identifying and presenting appropriate Cummins solutions with a focus on value proposition.

* Grow and establish positive customer relations. Utilize customer satisfaction tools to measure satisfaction and create action plans for improvement where necessary.


* Negotiate and implement contracts, including payment terms and accounts receivable deliverables. Report and manage invoicing on after sales activities.

* Work towards achieving monthly revenue targets, as set by the Aftersales Manager.

* Create and maintain a clear and logical after sales structure with an effective pricing methodology.

* Liaise with customers about any specific concerns regarding their service contract agreement and work towards an effective solution.



To be successful you will need;

* A Degree in engineering or qualified by relevant experience is required.

* The ability to interpret technical drawings and customer specifications to be able to offer appropriate solutions.

* To be commercially aware with a genuine passion for the industry and the brand, growing the market share and increasing Cummins presence.

* To be goal oriented teamed with natural rapport building skills that enable you to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
