Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time

Pay Range: $25.00 – $33.82

Paid time off includes a progressive PTO program. After 90 days of service, 9 days of PTO which may be carried over to next service year. At anniversary date, 16 PTO days are given. PTO is accrued on a schedule of one additional day per year up to five years, thereafter, one additional day for every two years, to a maximum PTO accrual of 26 days after 16 years of service. Maximum PTO carryover to the following year is current year PTO accrual.

We specialize in working with Aircraft Manufacturers (OEMs), Defense Organizations, Commercial Airlines, and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities by providing them with the expertise and tools to repair composite flight controls and other main aircraft parts. About the Position

We are looking for an Aerospace Contracts Coordinator to manage and coordinate the contract review process by working with all relevant departments at Heatcon. They will participate in the bid and proposal process with a focus on terms and conditions in coordination with sales and finance. They will highlight issues; advise and make recommendations to appropriate personnel and management; and act as a liaison between company and subcontractors when required.

The Aerospace Contracts Coordinator should have at least three to five years of related experience, possess a good understanding of the bidding and proposal cycle, and have sufficient knowledge of the complete spectrum of contract terms and conditions to determine emphasis in communications.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Aerospace Contracts experience.
  • Must possess a good understanding of the bidding and proposal cycle.
  • Must demonstrate communication skills.
  • Must have a professional attitude and a customer service orientation.
  • Must have sufficient knowledge of the complete spectrum of contract terms and conditions to determine emphasis in communications.
  • During any involvement in negotiations, must be able to creatively derive custom combinations of terms and conditions, through consensus with those having a contrary opinion.
  • Must have an awareness of government cost accounting requirements and which are applicable to the company under various quotation circumstances.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, balance, sit for prolonged periods, speak clearly, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to use fingers, hands and arms to manipulate and shuffle documents, use writing instruments and type on a keyboard. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 10 pounds.
