Full-Time Advanced Analytics Lead

To strengthen our Advanced Analytics Team, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Advanced Analytics Lead

The Advanced Analytics Lead is a key business partner who will provide analytic support as a partner to the Immunology commercial organization. He/she is responsible for development of rigorous analytics-based market insights and business intelligence to inform optimal strategic brand and portfolio decision-making, ensure successful marketing execution, and measure performance.  You will be responsible for applying hands on, advanced, analytical techniques to a broad range of data assets to inform strategic planning, identification of opportunities and optimal resource allocation. You will participate in the proliferation of an analytics-driven culture that drives top-line growth, controls costs, and takes timely corrective action to reduce risks that derail plans.  The scope of this role, while varied, would be focused on descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics related to patients, HCPs, providers, and payers. Ability to work closely with senior management and clients, providing business insights, challenging their thinking, and managing their expectations Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to develop data-driven behavioral segmentation and targeting of entities including payers, accounts, health systems, physicians and patients
  • Lead the development of a robust suite of copay/out-of-pocket analytics.  This includes copay program tracking, ROI measurement, benefit design, price sensitivity analyses and coverage gap studies
  • Be responsible for leading the ideation, development and roll-out of integrated predictive analytic solution to ensure pricing, contracting, value and access strategies are appropriately incorporated in marketing execution planning
  • Lead rigorous, analytics-based decision support to the commercial team, including primary market research, data analytics, forecasting and insight generation
  • Use your strong strategic, conceptual and analytical thinking combined with the ability to lead and build relationships with key stakeholders to quickly understand business strategies, identify analytics needs and build effective solutions

You will contribute by:

  • Designing and conducting post-hoc and a priori studies to measure marketing and patient program effectiveness and ROI using principles of cohort studies, and matched case-control studies
  • Developing and evolving predictive scoring models relating to HCP/patient/payer stakeholders using patient-level data
  • Conducting portfolio, cross-channel and marketing mix optimization assessments
  • Responding to various business questions with data-driven, actionable insights requiring the use of advanced data manipulation
  • Monitoring in-line portfolio performance and generate insights to drive continuous improvement of marketing strategy

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
Minimum Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of experience in a decision sciences/marketing analytics function and/or experience with advanced quantitative methods (e.g. multivariate statistics, predictive models, segmentation, etc.)
  • 5+ years of advanced knowledge of SAS, Python and/or R data manipulation, statistical procedures and visualization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MA/MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred in quantitative discipline
  • 8+ years’ experience working in an advanced analyst role preferred
  • 8+ years of working in a complex data environment Preferred
  • Demonstrated experience using advanced Excel features and techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data to senior levels of an organization
  • Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and being known to articulate complex concepts in clear, brief and easy to understand manner
  • High Proficiency in MS Office tools to include: Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Highly proficient with analytical tools and languages such as R, Python, SAS, SQL
  • Excellent verbal, written, facilitation and interpersonal communication skills with all levels internally and externally including technical and non-technical delivery and including communicating progress, status and risk information
