Serving 50-60 young adults, ages 18 to 28, Dragonfly offers world class residential and transitional services in both Klamath Falls and Ashland, Oregon. Dragonfly Transitions is accredited by Joint Commission, licensed by the State of Oregon, and a founding member of the Young Adult Transitions Association. Who We Hope to Hire:

The Admissions Director will provide personalized administrative services in a well-organized and timely manner, is responsible for scheduling and planning tours for prospective parents and referral sources, and will assist in all marketing efforts. They will also be responsible for admitting students and effectively communicating critical information to all necessary departments before and after the admission.

A dedicated sales and service professional, the Admissions Director will ensure the admissions team cultivates positive relationships with all departments, referral sources, current and prospective parents, and sister programs.

This is accomplished by crafting detailed internal knowledge for a global audience and developing a robust industry knowledge base. It requires a balance of attention to detail while maintaining flexibility.

Critical Components:

  • Manage the complete pre-admission process for a family seeking young adult transitional treatment, either from a direct call or a referral call. Must be able to convert the lead call into a successful admission. This can take hours or months, so follow-up is critical. Must maintain communication with the family for as long as the conversion takes. Must be able to build rapport with the family.
  • Communicate information on the Dragonfly Transitions and brand differentiators in an in-depth and confident manner.
  • Explain insurance coverage and payment options to families and/or providers. Negotiate payment arrangements as necessary.
  • Manages the onboarding of students and ensures a successful integration into the campus community
  • Prepares admissions reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Organizes student records and documentation. Screen each potential resident according to the information given by the family to determine whether he/she meets clinical criteria for the program.
  • Maintain communication with families currently in the pre-admission process, sometimes after regular business hours and on weekends.
  • Capture and report on new referents, clinicians, hospital systems, etc. to ensure ongoing relationships. Communicate and collaborate with Admissions & Marketing team on potential new leads.
  • Gather any relevant clinical documents and admission documents from the family or outside providers, including all consents, ensuring that required documentation is collected in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding the status of each admission to include Program Directors, Utilization Review Team and other appropriate staff; communicating and arranging physical, social, emotional, and support service requirements during the admission process.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality is protected. Adhere to all regulatory standards such as The Joint Commission and state/federal guidelines.
  • Maintains admission guidelines by writing, updating, and recommending changes to admission criteria, policies, and procedures.
  • Markets programs and facilities by preparing and providing informational brochures, answering questions, and conducting tours.
