Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, permanent classified Administrative Services Manager B.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide direct support as needed to the Director of Facilities Services

Develop and implement procedures to support Facilities Services managed programs

Prepare and maintain administrative and business reports and records

Assist in formulating general administrative policies and procedures

Manage day-to-day Facilities operations, office staff, schedules, and office hours

Professional written and verbal communication with College clients and external partners

Assist director and managers in the administration of proper personnel practices and procedures

Manage, train others, work in, and provide reports from a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) system like Directline Megamations

Review and approve income/expense, statistical and budget status reports; analyze problem areas and make recommendations or take corrective action

Audit and approve expenditures, requisitions, and personnel changes for accuracy

Manage document destruction services

Process and track campus utility bills and usage

Provide reports to local governing agencies as required

Administer linked programs such as Energy Star Portfolio Manager, Facilities Asset Inventory, and/or equivalents

Manage annual uniform orders and distributions

Administer and interpret rules, regulations and/or collective bargaining agreements

Train, supervise, and evaluate employees in accordance with negotiated agreements, applicable state and federal laws, and College policies and procedures

Work on special projects, prepare and deliver reports for College leadership and outside oversight agencies

Perform related duties as assigned

Position Requirements and Competencies:

Candidates will be evaluated based on application materials, including the supplemental questions and personal interview(s), and will be required to demonstrate competencies in the following areas:

One (1) year of demonstrated supervisory experience

Four (4) years of demonstrated higher level administrative work

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Demonstrated leadership and management skills

Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds

Vaccination requirement: Per Washington State Proclamation 21-14.1: college employees must be fully vaccinated. Your COVID-19 vaccine status must be validated by the Human Resources office prior to the commencement of work. Requesting a disability or religious exemption would be done through the Human Resources office.

Job Readiness/Working Conditions:

The initial appointment will include a 6-month probationary period and the employee will earn permanent status after successfully completing probation.

This position is represented by Washington Public Employees Association.

Prior to a new hire, a background check including criminal record history will be conducted. Information from the background check will not necessarily preclude employment but will be considered in determining the applicant’s suitability and competence to perform in the position.

Salary/Benefits: 

Starting Salary: $4,083/month                         Range:  51                           Code:  106F
