We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team specializing in Sales and Service for our Distribution Business in Austin, Tx.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

 

* Provide administrative support duties for a team, department, function or other organizational leader/group by conducing research, preparing reports, and addressing routine information requests.

* Assist with functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings.

* Respond and redirect routine inquiries from external or internal sources about the organization/department, its activities, or processes so callers/visitors are answered promptly and accurately.

* Prepare documentation for payment of vendors, suppliers and other third parties as applicable; submit documentation and enter requests for payments into accounting system.

* Participate as a team member on departmental related business improvement assignments and projects as needed.

 

 

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

 

* High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.  This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

* Ability to communicate effectively to the unique needs of different audiences.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.

* Customer focused with the ability to build customer relationships and provide solutions.

* Ability to analyze data and take on new opportunities with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm.

 

 

 

 

 

Compensation and Benefits

 

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
