OFFICE OF OPERATIONS

Traditional 235 work days 

FTE: 1.0

Salary Range: $55,834 – $64,750

  

Essential Functions and Objectives:

Administers and manages activities within a specific area of a responsibility. Serves as the subject matter expert and applies gained knowledge to execute, maintain and improve systems, programs, or processes.

Acts as the subject matter expert for all things related to school choice and enrollment in the region and ensures that communication to schools is clear and consistent and that the day-to-day operations of the office run smoothly. Serves in a supervisory role in the absence of the supervisor and supports the supervisor in communications with school leaders and parents. 

Acts as the subject matter expert in all things related to school choice and enrollment in the respective region and ensures that the processing efforts of the region are on track.

Oversees the day-to-day operations of the department office, manages hotline staffing levels to provide for adequate coverage, and ensures that systems are updated regularly to facilitate consistent, thorough communication with all schools.

Handles parent/school and departmental issues in a professional and timely manner.

Oversees temporary employees as well as on-boarding processes to ensure new and temporary employees are fully trained.

Analyzes data to identify areas of improvement and makes recommendations to leadership.

Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

Experience working in a call center environment preferred.

Valid Colorado driver’s license, appropriate insurance coverage and acceptable driving record for the past three years.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of individuals with varying degrees of technical knowledge and expertise.

Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization and influence others.

Effectively handles multiple demands and competing deadlines.

Works independently as well as collaboratively with others on a team.

Strong interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Ability to be flexible with schedule; weeknight and weekend meetings occasionally required.

Functional understanding of the school district student data system preferred.

Knowledge of Sharepoint preferred.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or three (3) years of experience in an office or call center environment.
