We are looking for a talented 2nd Shift Manufacturing Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Power Systems in Seymour, IN


In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Execute VPI Mfg. responsibilities for new product introduction

* Interact with product engineering teams to ensure designs meet basic manufacturing principles (conduct DFA reviews)

* Generate Manufacturing strategy for new products within SEP facility (layouts, process flow, systems integration)

* Demonstrate creativity in solutions and ability to facilitate cross functional teams in driving toward a solution in a timely manner

* Role may include supervision of exempt/hourly Manufacturing Engineering staff within their assigned area while also mentoring for less experienced engineers and exempt/hourly direct reports.


To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* Expert knowledge of PLC controls and DC torque tools

* Advanced knowledge of torque processes & associated fail saving

* Strong communication and presentation skills, written and oral, including technical material

* 2+ years relavant work experience

* Mechanical Aptitude

* Strong Organizational Skills


Compensation and Benefits


Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
