Full-Time Safety Specialist
Job Description
Fulltime, regular, non-exempt position. Identifies, investigates, analyzes, and reports on workplace hazards and accidents, and applies safety compliance methods and techniques, to develop and recommend hazard controls and safety training programs. Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Health Management, Risk Management, Business or Public Administration, or related field is preferred. Three (3) years of experience in administration of safety programs and risk analysis, preferably in the public sector is required. A combination of education, experience, and training may be applied in accordance with City of Las Cruces policy.
