Pathway Support Officer

Salary £21,896 pa to £24,834 pa (dependent on experience and qualifications)
All hours worked

British Swimming, the national governing body for the aquatic disciplines, is seeking a dynamic professional to support the delivery of the World Class Swimming Programme’s Performance Pathway Strategy through associated projects and interventions.

Reporting to the Head of Performance Services and working closely with the Head of Elite Development, the post-holder will work collaboratively with all key stakeholders to assist in the development and delivery of an implementation plan for all elements of Swimming’s Performance Pathway Strategy. This role will also support the development and maintenance of a world leading analysis framework, as well as providing dedicated administration support to the Head of Elite Development.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills. They will have experience of project management in an NGB or other sporting agency environment and ideally be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a project team. .It would be beneficial for the successful candidate to have an understanding of athlete development models, have a strong appreciation of statistical maths, and have the ability to provide accurate data analysis and interpretation. A keen understanding of the sport of swimming will also be an asset in this role.
