JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION

Black Knight’s Origination Technologies Performance (OTP) division is launching an exciting new product to sell to the Broker community. Sales will be done telephonically to engage new clients and sell products and/or services. The Account Executive will foster new relationships with potential clients to continue revenue growth and profit ability. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Broker channel and have strong knowledge of the mortgage originations process.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as primary liaison between new clients and Black Knight
  • Ensure user adoption and client success after sales cycle and implementation (light relationship management after Sales process)
  • Telephonic inbound/outbound sales role that is responsible for generating revenue and/or profit margin in small to mid-sized accounts.
  • Lead generation through the use of Outreach and other sales tools
  • Demonstrates product knowledge including various solutions, markets, and competitive intelligence within the Origination Technology Performance (OTP) product suite
  • Analyzes and evaluates pricing and costing scenarios to offer most viable value proposition.
  • Assists sales teams in the preparation of proposals for clients utilizing Black Knight resources and tools.
  • Works to achieve sales objectives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • May require up to 25% travel

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Good understanding of Black Knight OTPS (Origination Technologies Performance Suite) products and services as well as a strong industry knowledge
  • Experience in the Broker channel
  • Experience selling technology to various roles in a prospect’s organization, including their Sales team
  • Experience selling mortgage technology is highly desired
  • Strong knowledge of the mortgage originations process
  • Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in MS Dynamics and/or Outreach is a plus
  • Experience achieving and exceeding sales quotas/goals
  • In-depth understanding of the sales process
  • Requires the ability to cold-call and work under a metric driven process
  • Ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure
  • Excellent follow-up skills in all areas of sales cycle

Account Executive I

Entry-level professional role. Decisions are made within established policies and standard practices. Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. Has introductory knowledge of company products and services and sells lower complexity products and/or services. May have own territory or work on a team. Typically responsible for small quota/territory. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Typically requires up to two (2) years of field sales experience.
