We are looking for a talented Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Engine Business Unit/ Engine Business Segment in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Problem Solving – Solves problems using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry standard methodologies to create problem traceability and protect the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.
* Action oriented – Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
* Equipment/Capital Procurement – Selects manufacturing equipment which meets the Cummins manufacturing specifications and meets the project or program needs.
* Drives results – Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in the role you will need the following:
* College, university, or equivalent degree required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
* Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting, preferably with machining centers.
* Team management or supervision.
* Flexibility in work schedule as business conditions dictate.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
