Job Description
We are looking for a talented ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE to join our Rocky Mount, NC Manufacturing Plant.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Supporting account reconciliation and analysis, journal entry preparation and data entry
* Managing and performing fixed asset audits
* Working closely with the Engineering Manager managing capital expense expenditures
* Supporting the plant with capital RFA submissions
* Performing Capital/RFA training to plant personnel
* Managing the plant’s lease accounts and various tax submissions specific to the plant.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
* Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
* BA / BS in Accounting/Finance preferred
* Microsoft Excel experience is a must
* Working schedule is M-F, fulltime position and starting times can be flexible (example 7 am – 3:30pm or 8 am – 4:30 am)
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
