Position Summary:

Responsible for the day to day Planning and scheduling as well as the proper allocation of instructor assignments.

This applies to Flight Training projections.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Scheduling: 60%
  • Ensure that all key milestones of customer training projects are fulfilled on schedule
  • Ensure proper and effective utilization of all training resources such as Simulators, classrooms, trainers, etc.
  • In charge of assigning resources to all planned wet courses abiding by Training Center and customer constraints
  • Action daily changes to our projections for various reasons ie, instructor medical status, device failures, etc.
  • Contribute to regular risk assessments in order to minimize disruption to planned customer training in coordination with the TPSM;
  • Observe and study a rolling 1-year training plan that ensures the necessary simulators resources are available to satisfy customer demand.
  • Assist Training Sales department by informing them of forecasted customer training workload as well as of forecasted course availability.
  • Monitor and revise, as needed, short medium and long term training course planning.
  • Customer Administration Management 30%
  • Establish and maintain regular direct contact with stakeholders within Customers training organizations
  • Support the sales team by capturing customers’ additional needs;
  • Develop and maintain close working contacts with internal stakeholders of the process “Deliver Customer training”: Local ATC departments, TPSMs & contract administration.
  • Participate in the contract handover meeting and receive the support of the TPSM to guarantee smooth continuation of customer relationship;
  • Support: 10%
  • Answer and schedule customer requests when Planning is not available
  • Training Coordinator back up
  • Back up to other scheduler
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a clerical/administrative position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in the aviation industry is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer software applications.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in spreadsheets, email and file management
  • Advanced knowledge of database and records management
  • Team player with good work ethic, ability to be flexible and work under pressure

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, comfortable with public speaking, and outstanding telephone presence
